American Shizuki Corporation dba ASC Capacitors is a manufacturer of film capacitors located in the hard working Heartland of America. ASC started producing film capacitors 80 years ago under Goodall Electric which was sold to TRW in 1957 were it became the global capacitor division of TRW. In 1987 TRW sold its capacitor division to Shizuki Electric headquartered in Japan. ASCs top markets are: Motor Control/Drive systems for industrial power electronics, Industrial HVAC, Welding equipment, Harmonic Filters, Power Factor Correction, Aerospace, Aviation ground power, Medical Imaging, Compressors, pulse power, and more.
